Belgium-based 3D animation software company Swoove Studios has secured $7.5 million in a seed funding round led by prominent European angel investors. This recent boost brings the company’s total funding to $11 million since its founding in 2020, positioning Swoove Studios for significant expansion across Europe and into the US market.
Swoove Studios, known for its innovative AI-powered platform that enables users of all skill levels to create 3D animations, has seen rapid growth with its accessible tools designed to cater to both beginners and advanced creators. As part of its international growth strategy, the company also launched the Swoove marketplace, allowing users to buy and sell digital assets—like custom-designed clothing and accessories—within the app.
Already attracting a global audience, Swoove boasts thousands of users across 100 countries who leverage its features to bring their unique stories to life. The company’s platform has quickly gained popularity, combining user-friendly animation tools with a social and commercial ecosystem through the marketplace.
“We are thrilled to announce the completion of our latest funding round,” said Swoove Studios CEO and co-founder Rudy Verbeeck. “With this support, we plan to roll out exciting updates that will give users even more of the features they’ve been asking for.”
The fresh capital marks a pivotal step for Swoove as it scales its operations and further invests in development, aiming to solidify its presence across Europe while preparing for its highly anticipated US launch.
