2025 Critics Choice Awards VFX Nominations

The Critics Choice Awards, hosted annually by the American-Canadian Critics Choice Association (CCA), continue to celebrate excellence in cinema. For its 30th edition, the awards unveiled an impressive lineup of nominations, spotlighting this year’s standout films and series.

Leading the pack are Conclave and Wicked, each securing 11 nominations, including coveted spots in the Best Picture category. Hot on their heels are Dune: Part Two and Emilia Pérez with 10 nominations apiece. Meanwhile, The Brutalist made a strong showing with nine nods.

Among television series, Shōgun emerged as a standout, earning six nominations. The nominations reflect a diverse array of storytelling, reaffirming the Critics Choice Awards as a vital celebration of cinematic and televised artistry.

The winners will be revealed during the much-anticipated ceremony, set to honor the best achievements in film and television from the past year.
