Adobe has introduced significant improvements to its typography toolset in the latest After Effects 25.0 update, enhancing text control for users.
One of the most notable features allows users to control text styling on a per-character basis using Expressions, offering unprecedented precision in customizing individual characters, in addition to entire text layers.
Along with these new text controls, the update brings a range of paragraph styling attributes. Users can now adjust text direction, justification, first-line indents, and margins, adding more flexibility in creating complex layouts.
Pricing and System Requirements
After Effects 25.0, also referred to as the October 2024 release or After Effects 2025, is available on a subscription-only model for both Windows 10+ and macOS 12.0+. The software is priced at 2899 Rs per month, or 22183 Rs annually for a single-app subscription.
This update is expected to streamline text animation workflows and provide more design freedom to motion graphics artists and editors alike.
